CHADDS FORD, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that construction will take place on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in Chadds Ford Township, Delaware County, as part of a local safety improvement project.
From Monday, September 29, through Friday, October 3, and again from Monday, October 6, through Friday, October 10, northbound U.S. 1 will be reduced to a single lane between Creek Road and Ring Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for concrete work.
Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time. All activities are weather dependent.
