Jennifer Zoga Named First Executive Director of Philadelphia’s Professional Women in Construction

PHILADELPHIA, PA — In a landmark move, the Philadelphia chapter of Professional Women in Construction (PWC) has announced the appointment of Jennifer Zoga as its first Executive Director. This announcement comes from Amy Novak, President of PWC Philadelphia, who expressed confidence in Zoga’s ability to lead and grow the organization.

Zoga brings to the table decades of experience in organizational design for growing organizations and strategic business development for nonprofits. Her appointment is seen as a major stride in PWC Philadelphia’s mission to support, advance, and connect women while promoting diversity within the architecture, engineering, construction, and related industries.

Currently, Zoga also serves as the founder and Chief Strategist at Zoga Consulting, LLC and is an adjunct professor teaching nonprofit management at Rosemont College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management. Demonstrating her commitment to education, Zoga also serves as the board treasurer of Hamilton Park Montessori School.

“Over the past five years, we have grown in membership and programming such that we are now ready to hand over administrative operations to someone with Jennifer’s knowledge, experience, and deep care for advancing women and under-represented minority groups in business,” said PWC-Philly President Amy Novak. “The board and I are delighted that PWC-Philly will be in capable hands under her leadership.”

Zoga’s appointment is effective immediately. As the first Executive Director of the Philadelphia chapter of PWC, she will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the organization. Her wealth of expertise and passion for advancing diversity in the construction industry make her well-suited for this pivotal role.
