Health Advocate Extends NCQA Certification Streak to 10 Years

BLUE BELL, PA — Health Advocate secured a 10th consecutive year of NCQA certification for selected quality-measure algorithms in its Health Insights Dashboard, reinforcing the platform’s use in identifying care gaps and directing population-health outreach.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance certified the dashboard’s measurement logic for breast cancer screening, cervical cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening and continued beta-blocker treatment following a heart attack, the company announced.

The three cancer-screening measures also satisfy NCQA’s Electronic Clinical Data Systems reporting requirements, which govern the use of electronically sourced clinical information in quality measurement.

Health Advocate uses the certified measures to identify members who may benefit from screening, wellness or chronic-condition programs. The platform also supports targeted clinical outreach and digital engagement.

“Behind every data point is a person who may benefit from earlier outreach, clearer guidance, or more timely support,” Chief Analytics Officer Alyssa Scott said.

The Health Insights Dashboard allows employers, consultants and health plans to assess population risk, identify potential clinical interventions and monitor performance indicators and returns on health-program spending.

Health Advocate said the platform combines certified measurement logic with member-level insights to personalize outreach, track participation and evaluate outcomes. The company did not disclose customer adoption figures, financial results tied to the dashboard or the number of people evaluated through the system.
