WARMINSTER, PA — Havis announced the recent launch of new docking stations designed for Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 55 and 56 laptops, aimed at improving usability and performance for mobile professionals in field environments.

The redesigned docking stations feature a lighter-weight profile and updated latching mechanism to simplify docking and undocking, the company said.

Havis said the platform includes a push-pull latching system, a spring-loaded connector head for alignment, integrated cable management, and LED power indicators.

The devices also include a keyed lock for security and a polycarbonate construction intended to maintain durability under demanding conditions, according to the company.

Additional features include optional port replication configurations, dual pass-through antenna connections, and compatibility with screen support accessories to reduce vibration.
