Guiderail Repairs to Slow Traffic on I-95 and I-295 in Bucks County

Traffic Advisory

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that guiderail repairs will lead to periodic lane closures on Interstate 95 and I-295 over the next two weeks.

From Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 28, lane closures will occur weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the following locations:

I-95 between the Academy Road and Route 413 interchanges in Bensalem and Bristol townships.

I-295 between the I-95 and New Hope interchanges in Bristol, Middletown, and Lower Makefield townships.

Motorists should allow extra time when traveling through these work areas, as backups and delays are expected. All activities are weather dependent.

These repairs are part of PennDOT’s ongoing efforts to ensure roadway safety and infrastructure maintenance.
