22nd Annual 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo Set for August

ELKTON, MD — Mark your calendars for the 22nd Annual 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo on Thursday, August 8th, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at Elkton High School, located at 110 James Street in Elkton. This gathering is a collaboration between the Cecil County Department of Community Services and Cecil College’s Lifelong Learning Department.

The expo offers a vibrant environment to connect with community resource representatives and vendors. Attendees can engage in conversations about Medicare options, healthy eating, financial planning, and local Cecil County history. The event also features wellness activities and senior-friendly fitness classes.

The registration fee is $10, which includes lunch provided by Caffé Gelato. Additional sponsors for this year’s expo include ChristianaCare, Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union, CHEP, Cecil County Health Department, Cecil County Public Library, and the YMCA.

To register, call Cecil College at 410-287-1078, dial option 6, and provide course number SCX100-25. Registrations are also accepted in person at Cecil College’s Elkton Station, located at 107 Railroad Ave. in Elkton, and at the Healthy Lifestyles Fitness Center at the Cecil County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd. in Elkton.
