PHILADELPHIA, PA — Goats will roam through elaborate art installations, “paint” original works, and feast at a storybook-style banquet this summer as a one-night-only immersive event transforms Crane Arts into one of Philadelphia’s most unusual cultural experiences.

InLiquid and the Philly Goat Project are teaming up for A Gathering of Goats, an interactive cocktail fundraiser blending contemporary art, live animals, performance, and community wellness programming inside the Icebox Project Space on Wednesday, June 10.

Created by internationally recognized artist Claire Rosen, the event brings her whimsical “Fantastical Feasts” vision into real life, placing goats at the center of a surreal evening designed to spark conversation about creativity, healing, and human-animal connection.

A Living Work of Art

Throughout the evening, guests will move through immersive installations featuring the Philly Goat Project herd as collaborators and performers.

Among the featured experiences is The Goat Feast, an elaborate banquet scene where goats interact with a lavishly staged dining display, and The Goat Art Studio, where attendees can watch goats “create” original pieces that will later be sold as part of the fundraiser.

Organizers say the event is intended to be both playful and meaningful—using spectacle and humor to spotlight the therapeutic and emotional benefits of animal-assisted wellness programs.

Supporting Wellness Through Human-Animal Connection

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Philly Goat Project’s education, therapy, and wellness initiatives, along with InLiquid’s ongoing support of Philadelphia’s contemporary arts community.

By placing goats within a sophisticated artistic setting, organizers hope to challenge perceptions about animals while encouraging reflection on connection, care, and community.

The event also highlights the growing role of creative programming in wellness and public engagement throughout the region.
