WYOMISSING, PA — Gaming and Leisure Properties Inc. (Nasdaq: GLPI) raised its third-quarter dividend by about 5% from a year earlier to 82 cents a share, increasing the cash payout to investors in the gaming-focused real estate investment trust.
The dividend will be paid Sept. 25 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 11, the company said. GLPI paid 78 cents a share for the third quarter of 2025.
At GLPI’s Aug. 31 closing price of $42.07, the new quarterly payout equates to an annualized dividend yield of about 7.8%, according to the company.
The increase represents an additional 4 cents a share from the year-earlier quarter. On an annualized basis, an 82-cent quarterly dividend corresponds to $3.28 a share, assuming the payout remains unchanged.
GLPI said it intends to continue paying regular quarterly cash dividends for the foreseeable future, though each distribution remains subject to review and approval by its board.
The Wyomissing-based company owns and finances real estate leased to gaming operators through triple-net arrangements. Under those leases, tenants are generally responsible for property maintenance, insurance, taxes, utilities and other costs associated with operating the properties.
