YARDLEY, PA — FXExpress Publications, Inc. named five executives to its 2026 Industry Leader Awards, recognizing leaders across aviation, hotels, cruises, airports and tourism through an internal nomination and voting process conducted by the Yardley-based publisher.
The fifth annual awards went to Yvonne Makolo, CEO of RwandAir, for aviation; Barbara Muckermann, CEO of Kempinski Hotels, for hotels; Glen Moroney, chairman and CEO of Scenic Group, for cruise lines; Michael McMurray, commissioner of the Chicago Department of Aviation, for airports; and Carlo Micallef, CEO of the Malta Tourism Authority, for tourism.
Unlike reader-voted awards offered by some FXExpress publications, the Industry Leader honorees are selected by the company’s staff.
FXExpress team members submit nominations in each category along with a rationale for their choices. The nominations are then compiled into a survey distributed internally, with employees voting to determine the winners.
