LANCASTER, PA — Fulton Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: FULT) has completed the integration of Blue Foundry Bank into Fulton Bank, marking the final operational step in its acquisition of the New Jersey institution and expanding customers’ access to the company’s banking network across the Mid-Atlantic.
The legal merger of Blue Foundry Bank into Fulton Bank took effect July 11, followed by the conversion of Blue Foundry’s customer accounts and operations to Fulton’s banking platforms, the company reported.
The integration gives former Blue Foundry customers access to Fulton’s product lineup, digital banking services and more than 215 financial centers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
The systems conversion completes the operational integration following Fulton’s acquisition of Blue Foundry Bancorp, which closed April 1. The transaction expanded Fulton’s presence in New Jersey, one of the company’s strategic growth markets.
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Curt Myers said the combined organization is positioned to expand banking services in New Jersey while maintaining relationship-based customer service.
Fulton has established dedicated customer support resources for former Blue Foundry customers during the transition. Customers can obtain assistance through local financial centers or the bank’s Customer Care Center at 1-800-385-8664.
As part of the acquisition announced earlier this year, Fulton also committed $1.5 million through its Fulton Forward Foundation to support nonprofit organizations in New Jersey.
