LANCASTER, PA — Fulton Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: FULT) appointed former Wesco International finance chief David S. Schulz to its board effective Sept. 14, adding experience in risk, acquisitions and strategic planning as the bank pursues its growth strategy.
Schulz’s term will run through Fulton’s 2027 annual shareholders meeting. His appointment will expand the board to 11 members.
He will serve on Fulton’s audit and risk committees and has also joined the board of its banking subsidiary, Fulton Bank, N.A.
Fulton Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President Curt Myers cited Schulz’s experience in finance, strategic planning, risk and mergers and acquisitions as relevant to the company’s long-term growth plans.
Schulz served as Wesco’s chief financial officer from 2016 until February 2026, including as executive vice president and CFO beginning in June 2020. He then worked as executive vice president and special adviser to Wesco’s CEO until retiring May 31.
Before joining Wesco, Schulz was senior vice president and chief operating officer of Armstrong Flooring Inc. He previously served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Armstrong World Industries Inc. and as vice president of finance for its Armstrong Building Products division.
His earlier career included financial leadership roles at Procter & Gamble Co. and The J.M. Smucker Co. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Schulz joined the board of Sterling Infrastructure Inc. in 2025 and became chair of its audit committee in 2026. He also serves on that company’s compensation and talent development committee.
