PHILADELPHIA, PA & ALPHARETTA, GA — FreedomPay and Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS) have extended their strategic partnership to support integrated payment solutions across hospitality operations, the companies announced.
The expanded collaboration is aimed at enabling hotels, resorts, restaurants, and entertainment venues to adopt more flexible and integrated commerce systems.
Agilysys said its platform will continue to support multiple payment providers, allowing hospitality operators to select payment solutions based on operational and geographic needs.
The companies said the partnership focuses on integrating payment processing with broader hospitality technology systems, including property management and point-of-sale platforms.
Key elements of the agreement include support for open integration between Agilysys applications and payment platforms, as well as tools designed to reduce reliance on single vendors.
The companies also said the collaboration will support payment security and compliance through PCI-validated and point-to-point encryption-certified environments.
“Payment flexibility is increasingly important for hospitality operations managing complex guest preferences,” said Rohith Kori, senior vice president of product strategy at Agilysys.
Kori said integrated systems are necessary to support secure and consistent payment experiences across booking and on-property transactions.
Chris Kronenthal, president of FreedomPay, said the partnership is intended to support merchants in deploying payment technologies that align with their broader systems.
FreedomPay provides payment technology services across multiple industries, including retail, hospitality, and healthcare.
Agilysys develops software for hospitality operations, including systems for property management, point-of-sale, and food service, serving hotels, resorts, casinos, and other venues.
