Dublin Road Closure Will Force a Lengthy Detour for Two Weeks

DUBLIN, PA — Drivers traveling between Hilltown Township and Dublin Borough should prepare for nearly two weeks of weekday detours as PennDOT closes Dublin Road/Maple Avenue for base repairs.

During the closure, drivers will be detoured along Blooming Glen Road, Minsi Trail, Route 113 (Souderton Road) and Route 313 (Dublin Pike/Main Street).

Local access will be maintained throughout the project.

PennDOT warned that backups and delays may develop near the work zone and along the detour. Drivers should plan extra time, particularly if their regular route takes them between Hilltown Pike and Route 313.

The work is weather dependent, meaning the schedule could change if conditions prevent crews from completing the repairs as planned.
