PHILADELPHIA, PA — Motorists across southeastern Pennsylvania should prepare for daytime and overnight traffic delays next week as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) schedules resurfacing and roadway improvements on seven highway segments in Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

In Bucks County, crews will restrict traffic on Woodbourne Road between Cobalt Ridge Drive and Big Oak Road in Middletown Township from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone.
In Delaware County, a lane closure is scheduled on I-95 between Wanamaker Avenue and the Philadelphia County line in Tinicum Township from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM for milling and paving.
Montgomery County drivers will encounter restrictions on Route 663 (King Street/Charlotte Street) between Route 100 (Pottstown Boyertown Bypass) and Swamp Pike in Pottstown Borough, Lower Pottsgrove Township, and New Hanover Township. Lane closures with flagging are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
Alternating lane closures will also affect Route 663 (Pottstown Avenue) between Otts Road and the Bucks County line in Upper Hanover Township during those same hours. Both Montgomery County projects involve milling, paving, and utility work.
In Philadelphia, lane closures for line striping are scheduled on Ridge Avenue between Hunting Park Avenue and Spring Garden Street, Berkley Street/Roberts Avenue between Germantown Avenue and Henry Avenue, and Girard Avenue between Lancaster Avenue and Lansdowne Drive. Restrictions will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The work is part of multiple PennDOT contracts to repair and improve more than 240 miles of state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
