CHESTER, PA — Horse racing enthusiasts are gearing up for an action-packed Memorial Day Weekend at Harrah’s Philadelphia Racetrack, where Super Sunday will take center stage on May 25, 2025. With three $100,000 Invitational races lined up, the event is set to offer thrilling entertainment alongside a host of family-friendly activities.
The marquee races will feature the Maxie Lee Memorial Invitational Trot, the Joseph Auger Memorial Pace, and the Betsy Ross Pace for talented female 3-year-old pacing colts, showcasing some of the best talent in harness racing. His contributions to the sport, including producing back-to-back Delaware Valley Harness Horse of the Year winners in the mid-1970s, solidified his legacy and left an indelible mark on the industry.
