CAPE MAY, NJ — This Halloween season, Cape May introduces a spine-tingling attraction that promises to captivate Halloween enthusiasts: Harry’s BOO BAR. Open until October 31st, 2024, this unique pop-up experience transforms Harry’s Bar and Grille into a haunted pirate’s den, complete with eerie decor and a ghostly ambiance. Located at 1025 Beach Avenue, this chilling destination invites guests to eat, drink, and be scary in an unparalleled Halloween setting.

Following the tremendous success of Harry’s Jingle Bar Christmas Pop-up last year, Dan Alicea, Owner of Madison Resorts, brings the first-ever Halloween-themed bar to Cape May. “Our team had so much fun with Jingle Bar and the reaction from the community was so amazing, we immediately said we wanted to present a Halloween twist on the idea,” said Alicea. This venture highlights the growing appeal of Cape May as a year-round destination, with increased visitor traffic and new seasonal attractions.

Harry’s BOO BAR is more than just a themed venue; it offers a thrilling menu of ghoulish cocktails and seasonal dishes designed to enchant the taste buds. Revelers can savor concoctions like the smoking Davy Jones Juice or the devilishly delightful Captain Jack O’ Lantern. For those craving a hearty bite, the menu features fall-inspired dishes such as Butternut Squash Ravioli and Boneless Short Rib.

In a charitable collaboration, Harry’s BOO BAR has partnered with the Cape May Beach Patrol, incorporating a haunted pirate ship display featuring a wooden beach boat. Donations collected will benefit the Patrol’s Cannone Scholarship Fund, with Madison Resorts matching every donation.

Excitement peaks during the Halloween Costume Party on October 26th, where DJ Jack Sparrow will lead the festivities with $500 in cash prizes for the best costumes. Additional events include the Cape May Jazz Festival and a Stein Hoisting Event presented by Dogfish Brewery.

With its imaginative decor, chilling cocktails, and festive events, Harry’s BOO BAR stands as Cape May’s premier Halloween hotspot, offering a month-long celebration of all things ghostly and gory. Are you brave enough to enter this realm of Halloween enchantment?
