PHILADELPHIA — Dermatology Partners has appointed Sarah Plasha as director of human resources, adding a veteran HR executive as the physician-led dermatology group continues expanding its operations across the Mid-Atlantic region.
The appointment follows the recent promotion of Amber Mault to vice president of people and comes as the organization seeks to support continued growth in response to rising demand for dermatology services.
Plasha brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience spanning healthcare, clinical research, biotechnology, manufacturing, automotive and distribution. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College and is certified as a Senior Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management.
Andrew Frankel, chief operating officer of Dermatology Partners, described Plasha’s experience across multiple industries as positioning her to support the organization’s workforce as it grows.
“Her broad industry background provides her with a well-rounded perspective and the ability to adapt HR strategies to meet the evolving needs of both employees and organizations,” Frankel said.
Privately owned and physician-led, Dermatology Partners stated that it continues to operate without private equity ownership, a structure the company says allows it to invest in patient care, physician support and long-term growth while maintaining local practice identities.
The company provides administrative, technology and operational support to affiliated dermatology practices throughout the Mid-Atlantic region as it continues expanding its footprint.
