Del-One Credit Union Earns FHLBank Community Development Honor

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh has named Del-One Federal Credit Union the East Region recipient of its 2026 Pillars of the Community Award, recognizing the Delaware-based financial institution’s use of housing and community development programs to expand affordable housing and small business support.

The award is the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh’s highest organizational honor and is presented annually to member institutions demonstrating significant commitments to community revitalization through the bank’s community investment programs.

Del-One, headquartered in Dover, Delaware, was recognized for its participation in several FHLBank initiatives during 2025, including the Affordable Housing Program, Banking On Business, First Front Door and Home4Good.

According to FHLBank, Del-One secured approval for funding supporting 33 Delaware housing projects through the Home4Good program, totaling nearly $1.87 million.

The credit union also helped finance seven First Front Door projects, one Affordable Housing Program project and used the Banking On Business program to assist a local business.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh stated the award recognizes member institutions that combine community development efforts with effective use of the bank’s financing programs to support affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization and economic development.
