WILMINGTON, DE — Bigfoot calls, tin foil couture, and a room full of people trying to decide what is real and what is fake will turn a Wilmington convention into something decidedly unconventional this October.
King Creative and Uncultured Swine are bringing ConCon to the Siegel Jewish Community Center on Oct. 18, transforming the fictional conspiracy convention at the heart of the locally filmed mockumentary comedy “The Conspiracists” into a day of games, comedy, pop culture and interactive entertainment.
The daytime expo will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a screening of “The Conspiracists” and a live cast Q&A from 5 to 7 p.m.
“ConCon isn’t about whether conspiracy theories are true. It’s about why they’ve captured our imagination for generations,” King Creative’s Christopher Bruce said. “Through comedy, games, pop culture, interactive exhibits, unique vendors, and a movie that brings it all together, ConCon transforms curiosity into a shared adventure that everyone can enjoy.”
Among the attractions is a Tin Foil Hat Build Station where participants can fashion their own headgear and compete for recognition. The Bigfoot Calling Championship will challenge visitors to produce their best Sasquatch summons, while children can get creative during a Kids Foil Fashion Show.
“Real or Fake?” will put attendees’ instincts to the test in an interactive game show.
A vendor hall will bring together comics, collectibles, independent artists and interactive experiences. Fans can also meet artists, puppeteers and other creators involved with “The Conspiracists.”

The $10 Civilian Pass includes access to the vendor hall and Main Stage programming, including the costume contest, Bigfoot Calling Championship, tin foil hat station and photo booth. It also includes a scavenger hunt passport and access to food and merchandise.
The $15 Conspiracist Pass adds reserved seating for the 5 p.m. movie watch party, admission to the cast Q&A and double raffle entries. The $25 Classified Access tier includes those benefits along with 30-minute early entry, VIP movie seating, a post-panel group photo with the cast and a surprise giveaway.
The film behind the event follows siblings attempting to save their conspiracy-themed convention before everything falls apart. After spending the day inside the real-life version, attendees can watch the full movie together before hearing production stories directly from the cast.
For Bruce, the oddball subject matter is ultimately a vehicle for something much simpler: bringing people together to have fun.
“The world gives plenty of reasons to argue,” organizers said. “ConCon gives people a reason to wonder together.”
