WILMINGTON, DE — Chase Freedom is closing 2025 with a fresh lineup of rotating cash back categories as it marks 15 years of rewarding cardmembers. From October 1 through December 31, Freedom and Freedom Flex cardholders can earn 5% cash back on travel booked through Chase Travel, purchases at department stores, Old Navy® shopping, and PayPal transactions made in December.
“Whether it’s a shopping haul with friends, traveling to new destinations with family or finding that perfect holiday gift, these categories are designed so cardmembers can make the most of their spending,” said Wittney Rachlin, General Manager of Chase Freedom. “It’s a rewarding finish to our 15th anniversary celebration and we’re grateful to our cardmembers for being part of this cashbacking journey.”
The lineup aims to capture seasonal spending habits, particularly around holiday travel and shopping. Freedom Flex cardmembers booking through Chase Travel can earn a total of 9% cash back, combining the rotating category bonus with the card’s ongoing travel rewards.
In addition to quarterly categories, Freedom Flex cardholders continue to earn 5% cash back on all Chase Travel purchases, 3% on dining and drugstore purchases, and 1% on all other spending.
Cardmembers must activate the categories to qualify for the bonus rewards.
