Chase

WILMINGTON, DE — JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) is expanding its hotel rewards credit card portfolio with IHG Hotels & Resorts, introducing a $350-a-year premium card and revising benefits across three existing products as the bank seeks to capture more spending from frequent travelers and business customers.

The changes include new airline and hotel dining credits, expanded opportunities to earn elite status and revised rewards structures. Annual fees for the updated portfolio range from zero to $350, with adjustments for existing cardholders scheduled for 2027.

The new IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card carries the portfolio’s highest annual fee and offers up to $300 in annual food and beverage rewards at IHG properties, a $200 airline statement credit and up to $50 in United TravelBank Cash.

Cardholders also receive an anniversary free night with a redemption cap of 60,000 points, automatic Platinum Elite status and 20 elite night credits annually. Additional credits can be earned through spending.

The card earns up to 28 points per dollar on eligible IHG hotel stays, six points on dining and travel purchases, including rideshare services, and three points on other purchases.

Chase is also updating its existing IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card, which carries a $150 annual fee.

The revised benefits include up to $100 annually in hotel food and beverage rewards, a $100 airline statement credit and an anniversary free night with an increased redemption cap of 50,000 points.

The card provides automatic Gold Elite status and 15 elite night credits each calendar year. It earns up to 24 points per dollar on IHG stays, with expanded bonus categories that include grocery purchases.

For customers seeking a card without an annual fee, Chase is renaming the IHG One Rewards Traveler Card as the IHG One Rewards Credit Card.

The updated product earns up to 17 points per dollar on IHG stays, three points on dining, gas and groceries, and two points on other purchases.

It also provides automatic Silver Elite status and five annual elite night credits. Its fourth-night-free redemption benefit will require $5,000 in card purchases.

The business card is being renamed the IHG One Rewards Business Credit Card and will carry a $200 annual fee.

Its revised benefits include up to $100 in annual hotel food and beverage rewards, a $100 airline statement credit and a $100 statement credit for Expensify purchases.

Business cardholders will receive automatic Platinum Elite status, 15 annual elite night credits and an anniversary free night with a 50,000-point redemption cap.

The card earns up to 26 points per dollar on IHG stays, with additional rewards for travel, dining, gas and selected advertising purchases.

Across the portfolio, the new elite night credits provide cardholders with progress toward IHG One Rewards Milestone Rewards, which can include bonus points, food and beverage rewards and confirmable suite upgrades.

Eligible cardholders can also earn two additional elite night credits for every $5,000 in purchases on the Premier Select, Premier and Business cards.

The changes strengthen the connection between Chase’s credit card products and IHG’s hotel loyalty program, which covers more than 7,000 properties across 21 brands worldwide.

Paul Proctor, IHG’s senior vice president of global loyalty and partnerships, said the revised cards are intended to give members more ways to obtain benefits from hotel stays.

Chase is offering introductory bonuses through November 18 for new cardholders who meet specified spending requirements within three months of opening an account.
