PHILADELPHIA, PA — Cendry Capital has appointed former Graham Partners finance chief Anthony J. Folino III as a senior adviser to strengthen its financial, compliance and investor-reporting operations as the private equity firm pursues acquisitions of aerospace and defense manufacturers.
Folino will work with Cendry’s leadership to develop the infrastructure supporting its acquisition strategy and relationships with family offices and private investors, according to the firm.
His responsibilities will include advising on fund accounting and administration, investor reporting, valuation policies, treasury management, audit and tax relationships, compliance procedures and back-office technology.
Folino spent more than two decades as chief financial officer of Graham Partners, a Newtown Square-based private equity firm focused on industrial technology and advanced manufacturing.
At Graham Partners, he oversaw finance, accounting, treasury, fund administration and investor reporting across multiple investment funds. He also supported fundraising, investor communications and compliance while managing relationships involving audits, taxes, technology and legal matters.
The infrastructure he helped establish supported billions of dollars in assets under management, according to Cendry.
Founder and Managing Partner Brandon Stewart indicated that Folino’s experience would guide decisions about which operational systems the firm should prioritize as it develops.
“His judgment on sequencing — what to build now, what can wait, and what becomes harder to fix later — is exactly what a firm at our stage needs,” Stewart stated.
Cendry acquires and operates manufacturers producing components for the aerospace and defense industries.
