MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Drivers in Horsham and Upper Moreland townships should prepare for a full weekend road closure and possible delays as PennDOT advances a local intersection reconstruction project on Blair Mill Road.

PennDOT said Blair Mill Road will be closed between Gibraltar Road and Route 63 (Welsh Road) beginning at 6:00 PM Friday, June 12, and remain closed until 6:00 AM Monday, June 15.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to follow posted detour signs around the work zone. PennDOT did not provide a specific detour route.
Local access for homes and businesses will be maintained throughout the project, according to PennDOT.
Drivers traveling through the area should expect backups and slower travel along nearby roads as traffic is redirected around the closure. Plan extra time, especially during the weekend, and seek alternate routes when possible.
