TREVOSE, PA — The Advertising Specialty Institute has appointed Ashish Mittal as chief executive officer, effective April 1, succeeding Timothy M. Andrews, who is retiring after 23 years leading the company, ASI announced.
Mittal will take over leadership as the Cohn family continues its oversight of the business, with Matthew Cohn and Stephanie Cohn Schaeffer serving as co-chairs of the board and Norman Cohn transitioning to chairman emeritus.
Mittal most recently served as president and chief operating officer of Sticky.io, where he led operations, product development and go-to-market strategy.
He previously held leadership roles at Gopuff and ShopRunner, contributing to expansion efforts and marketplace development, according to the company.
“In Ashish, we found a leader with the experience, judgment and energy to guide ASI into its next chapter,” said Matthew Cohn, co-chair of ASI.
Stephanie Cohn Schaeffer said Mittal’s experience in technology platforms and operations aligns with the company’s direction.
Mittal said ASI connects suppliers, distributors and decorators across the promotional products industry through technology and industry resources.
Founded in 1962, ASI provides technology platforms, research, media, events and education to companies in the promotional products sector worldwide.
