Ascensus

DRESHER, PA — Ascensus named John Shapiro chief product officer, putting the former Lightspeed Commerce executive in charge of an enterprise-wide product strategy aimed at more closely connecting client needs, technology investment and business priorities as the savings-services company pursues growth.

Shapiro joins Ascensus’ executive leadership team and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Nick Good. He will lead the company’s product organization and oversee how products are developed, prioritized and delivered across the business.

The appointment gives Ascensus a centralized product leader as the company seeks to create more integrated offerings and streamline how clients and partners interact with its services.
