HARRISBURG, PA — Pennsylvania’s gaming industry generated more than $602,000,000 in revenue in March, marking a year-over-year increase driven largely by strong growth in online gaming and sports wagering.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported that total gaming revenue reached $602,399,907 in March 2026, up from $574,534,002 in March 2025.

Tax revenue from gaming activities totaled $259,240,523 for the month.

Growth Driven by Digital and Sports Betting

Online casino-style gaming generated $254,698,991 in March, a 6.92% increase from the previous year.

Sports wagering revenue rose sharply to $47,855,881, a 77.07% increase compared to March 2025, despite a decline in total betting volume.

Mixed Results Across Gaming Types

Not all sectors saw gains.

Revenue from retail slot machines declined 2.83% year over year to $216,199,291, while retail table games fell 3.88% to $78,711,983.

Fantasy contests also declined, with revenue totaling $1,065,327, down 9.74% from the prior year.

Video gaming terminals at truck stops increased modestly, generating $3,868,434, a 4.12% increase.

Casino Performance

Among individual properties, several casinos posted notable gains, including Valley Forge Casino Resort and Hollywood Casino at the Meadows.

Others, including Wind Creek Bethlehem and Parx Casino, reported year-over-year declines in total revenue.
