BRYN MAWR, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania is offering free water-conservation kits to income-eligible customers as summer water use rises, pairing efficiency measures with broader assistance programs aimed at reducing household water and wastewater bills.

Customers enrolled in Aqua’s Customer Assistance Program are eligible for the kits, which are delivered to their homes and include low-flow showerheads, faucet aerators, leak-detection tablets and other water-saving equipment.

The program is designed to reduce consumption and, over time, lower bills by addressing everyday household water use. Aqua is promoting the kits alongside three other forms of financial and plumbing assistance available to qualifying residential customers.

“Summer often brings higher water use, and it’s also a natural time for our income-eligible customers to look for resources available to them to help them manage their monthly bills,” Rita Black, director of Customer Assistance Programs, stated.

Aqua’s Customer Assistance Program provides qualifying households with monthly discounts on water and wastewater bills. Enrollment is available throughout the year.

The company also operates a Leak Repair Program that may cover repairs involving problems such as leaking toilets, broken fixtures and other household plumbing leaks that can increase water bills. Customers must contact Aqua before repairs begin because the program does not reimburse work already completed.

Aqua Aid provides another form of assistance through grants applied directly to qualifying customers’ Aqua bills. The program is funded by donations from Essential shareholders and Aqua Pennsylvania customers.

“Whether it’s a free conservation kit, a monthly discount through our Customer Assistance Program, or plumbing assistance to address a household leak, our programs are designed to support customers in managing both water use and costs,” Black stated.

Customers can check eligibility and apply for the Customer Assistance Program at AquaWater.com/CAP or by calling the Dollar Energy Fund at 1-888-282-6816. Aqua Aid applications are available at hardshiptools.org/MyApp.

Information about the Leak Repair Program is available at AquaWater.com/leakrepair or by calling 412-208-6818. Eligible customers can request a conservation kit at AquaWater.com/free-water-conservation-kit.
