Traffic Stop Leads to Fugitive Arrest in Parkesburg

PARKESBURG, PA — A 29-year-old man was arrested in Parkesburg after police determined he was wanted as a fugitive from justice in Maryland, according to the Parkesburg Borough Police Department.

Police identified the man as Nigel Jordan McKnight, 29.

According to authorities, McKnight was stopped Aug. 13 during a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Church Street.

During the stop, police confirmed that McKnight was wanted as a fugitive from justice, authorities reported.

McKnight was taken into custody and charged as a fugitive from justice. He was remanded to Chester County Prison pending extradition to Maryland.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
