HARRISBURG, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) has approved a $1 million low-interest loan through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) to support expansion and job growth at Filter Services Inc. in Bucks County.
The funding will enable the company to acquire a 23,850-square-foot manufacturing facility on Industrial Boulevard in Upper Southampton Township, allowing it to expand production capacity. The project will create at least seven new full-time jobs and retain 15 existing positions, with a total investment of $2.6 million into the regional economy.
“Through this loan, we are investing in a growing business that will create and retain jobs here in Pennsylvania,” said DCED Secretary Rick Siger. “The Shapiro Administration is working hard every day to transform our Commonwealth into an economic powerhouse, and PIDA helps give businesses the resources to help make that happen.”
To date in 2025, PIDA has approved over $21 million in low-interest loans, leveraging nearly $46 million in private investment statewide. The program has supported the creation of 123 new jobs and the retention of 125 existing positions.
PIDA loans provide critical financing for businesses that commit to job creation and retention, supporting projects ranging from property acquisitions and renovations to equipment purchases and working capital needs.
