Google Joins SBA Small Business Week as Tech Push Grows

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Small businesses will have expanded access to digital tools and training during National Small Business Week as the U.S. Small Business Administration announced Google’s return as a major sponsor for the 2026 event.

The SBA said Google will serve as a Gold Cosponsor, participating in the National Awards Ceremony in Washington and events across multiple states as part of a nationwide tour.

National Small Business Week, established in 1963, is a federal initiative recognizing the role of small businesses in job creation and economic growth.

Focus on Technology and Growth

Officials said this year’s programming will emphasize the role of technology in helping small businesses expand their reach and operate more efficiently.

The event will include a Virtual Summit offering training sessions and resources focused on digital tools, customer outreach, and business development.

“As more entrepreneurs use digital tools to expand their reach, we’re proud to continue working with private-sector leaders who make that progress possible,” said SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler.

Google’s participation includes providing resources aimed at helping small businesses improve visibility and scale operations using digital platforms and artificial intelligence tools.
