WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County Sheriff Kevin Dykes has announced the addition of four deputies to his office’s roster. Frank Imparato, a seasoned law enforcement professional, was sworn in as the latest deputy on Tuesday. His appointment marks a significant step for the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, reinforcing its ranks and bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to community service.

“Deputy Imparato embodies the values that define our office,” said Sheriff Dykes. “His commitment to upholding these principles with integrity and professionalism will undoubtedly enhance our efforts in ensuring public safety.”

But the bolstering of the force doesn’t stop with Deputy Imparato. In a bid to further enhance the capabilities of the Sheriff’s Office, three more individuals have been selected to join the department as trainee deputies. Nicholas Fernandez, Ernesto Pineda, and Angel Chimal Rodriguez are set to begin their comprehensive law enforcement training at the Delaware County Police Academy this month.

Upon successful completion of their training in June 2024, the trio will take their oaths as sworn deputies, ready to uphold the highest standards of law enforcement within the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.

“We hold steadfast confidence in the commitment, skills, and dedication of trainee deputies Fernandez, Pineda, and Rodriguez,” Sheriff Dykes notes. “Their induction represents an exciting day for our office.”

This expansion of the Sheriff’s Office team is made possible through the backing of the Commissioners, who have endorsed paid training for selected deputies. This investment underscores the recognition of the importance of equipping deputies with the latest knowledge and skills to effectively serve the community.

With this addition of new deputies and trainees, the Chester County Sheriff’s Office is poised to strengthen its mission of ensuring public safety with renewed vigor and enhanced capabilities.
