WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Sheriff’s Office has appointed Kevin Creighton as captain, adding a law enforcement veteran with more than 30 years of experience to its leadership team, the agency announced.

Creighton joins the office following a career with the Pennsylvania State Police, where he most recently served as captain and director of operational training within the Bureau of Training and Education.

In that role, he oversaw statewide training operations, supervised instructional staff, and managed areas including use-of-force review, emergency vehicle incident analysis, and personnel accountability.

Sheriff Kevin D. Dykes said Creighton’s experience will support the department’s operations.

“Captain Creighton brings a strong background in leadership, training, and accountability,” Dykes said. “His experience at the command level and his focus on operational standards will be a valuable addition to the Sheriff’s Office.”
