COATESVILLE, PA & SALT LAKE CITY, UT — SureFlight Aircraft Completions has opened a second facility in Springville, Utah, expanding its operations to serve customers in the western United States.
The new site, located near Spanish Fork Airport, focuses on custom interior and upholstery work for fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft.
The expansion marks the company’s first West Coast location and is part of a broader effort to increase capacity and geographic reach.
“Our West Coast aviation interiors operation is the natural evolution of our business to meet growing customer demands across the United States,” said Owen Watkins, co-founder and president of SureFlight.
SureFlight recently completed a bi-coastal refurbishment project on a Beechcraft 390 Premier jet, including interior, exterior paint, and avionics work.
The Utah facility has begun serving customers in Idaho, Wyoming, and nearby regional airports, including SkyPark, Provo, Heber City, and Ogden.
The company said it is also participating in local aviation activities, including restoration of a World War II-era A-26 Invader aircraft and involvement with FAA-affiliated groups.
“When looking to expand our geographic footprint, it was imperative to guarantee customers with the same…quality,” said DeWitte Binkley, general manager of SureFlight.
SureFlight, founded in 2009, provides aircraft paint, interior, avionics, and refurbishment services and operates an FAA-certified repair station at Chester County G.O. Carlson Airport.
