EXTON, PA — Red Rover, a provider of human capital management software for K-12 school districts, reported growth in customer adoption and platform usage as school systems increasingly consolidate workforce management functions onto integrated software platforms.
The company said its platform now serves 28,000 schools across more than 2,000 districts, supporting approximately 740,000 employees. Red Rover also reported a 40% increase in new customers and a 99% year-over-year customer retention rate.
The growth comes as school districts face ongoing staffing, substitute management, hiring, and workforce administration challenges while seeking to reduce reliance on multiple disconnected software systems.
Red Rover’s platform combines absence management, hiring, employee records, professional development, and time-tracking functions into a single system designed specifically for K-12 districts.
The company cited increasing adoption among existing customers as districts expand beyond initial deployments and add additional workforce management tools.
Milford Public Schools in Connecticut, which serves 14 schools and approximately 1,300 employees, recently expanded its use of Red Rover after initially implementing the company’s absence management and hiring systems.
“Expanding on our Red Rover solutions was the logical next step,” Wendy Kopazna, director of talent management and development for Milford Public Schools, said in a statement. “Their products are built to seamlessly integrate, giving us a unified ecosystem where everything just works together.”
Red Rover also reported gaining customers from competing education software providers, including Frontline Education.
Plymouth Public Schools selected Red Rover’s absence management, time tracking, hiring, and records modules and expects to deploy the platform this summer.
Matthew Tencza, business manager for Plymouth Public Schools, cited the platform’s integrated design and customer support as factors in the district’s decision.
In Missouri, Webster Groves School District approved a contract in March to replace its existing absence management platform with Red Rover’s system. District officials expect the software to automate absence tracking, improve substitute fill rates, and reduce administrative workload.
The company recently launched Records, an employee records management module that centralizes personnel information, compliance documentation, and human resources workflows. Red Rover said more than 100 districts have signed up for the product since its March launch.
Red Rover also received two Gold Stevie Awards in the 2026 American Business Awards, including recognition for its K-12 human capital management platform and its professional development management solution.
