DEVON, PA — Recovery Centers of America has placed facilities in Newsweek’s 2026 ranking of the nation’s leading residential addiction treatment centers for a seventh consecutive year, extending the Devon-based provider’s run on a list that evaluates care, professional reputation and patient experience.
Newsweek’s America’s Best Residential Addiction Treatment Centers 2026 recognizes 440 facilities nationwide. The ranking, produced with data firm Statista, draws on surveys of health care professionals and treatment-center managers, federal credential and service information, and patient reviews.
The methodology considers four areas: professional reputation; accreditations, certifications and licenses reported through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration; the number of recovery support, education and counseling services offered; and patient-experience data from Rehabs.com, Recovery.com and Google Reviews.
RCA operates a network of addiction treatment centers offering care for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Select locations also provide treatment for primary mental illness.
The company offers medically monitored detoxification and residential treatment as well as outpatient programs. Those include partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and general outpatient programs, along with Recovery Living.
RCA also provides family coaching and education, case management and an alumni program intended to support patients after treatment. Its facilities are accredited by The Joint Commission, according to the company.

The recognition comes in a fragmented U.S. treatment market with more than 17,000 addiction treatment facilities, according to information provided by RCA. Newsweek’s ranking covers roughly 440 residential centers rather than the broader universe of addiction-treatment providers.
RCA has now received recognition in the annual Newsweek ranking each year for seven consecutive years, giving the company a sustained presence in an assessment that combines industry feedback, institutional credentials, available services and consumer reviews.
