CHADDS FORD, PA — The Shop at Punctuate Your Style has relocated to the Chadds Ford Barn Shops, expanding the interior design studio’s retail presence with a permanent boutique for home décor, gifts and seasonal merchandise ahead of an Oct. 17 grand opening.
The store is now operating at 1609 Baltimore Pike, Suite 400, with the grand opening scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will include shopping, food, wine, live music and giveaways.
The boutique operates as the retail arm of Punctuate Your Style, an interior design studio serving clients across the Main Line and Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. Its services include interior design, renovations and construction consultation.
Owner and principal designer Ashley Dowse developed the store as a way to extend the design business beyond clients undertaking larger projects. The merchandise includes home décor, gifts and seasonal items selected to complement the studio’s design work.
“The Shop gives us a chance to bring that philosophy to life in a really approachable way,” Dowse said. “Sometimes all it takes is one great find to make a room feel completely new.”
The Chadds Ford location also gives the business a venue for customer events. The boutique hosts a monthly book club featuring a potluck and discussion of a selected book, reflecting Dowse’s previous career as a high school English teacher.
The business also sells merchandise online at www.punctuateyourstyletheshop.com. Information about store events is available on Instagram at @punctuateyourstyle_theshop.
