MALVERN, PA — Mid Penn Bank will open a Malvern financial center Oct. 19, giving the Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: MPB) subsidiary its second Chester County banking location as it expands its presence in the greater Philadelphia market.
The financial center at 101 Lancaster Ave. will join Mid Penn’s West Chester location and complement an existing administrative center in Malvern.
The bank will offer consumer and business banking along with trust, wealth management, financial advisory and insurance services from the new location.
The Malvern center will include drive-thru banking, on-site parking, an ATM Plus interactive teller and private meeting areas for financial consultations.
The office, located along the Lancaster Avenue corridor near U.S. Route 202 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike, will operate Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tara White will serve as financial center manager.
Mid Penn plans to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 29 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. with bank and community representatives.
A larger grand opening is planned for early 2027, when the bank expects to host customers and community members at the new location. The date and time have not yet been set.
