WEST CHESTER, PA — A. Duie Pyle has opened a 78,760-square-foot warehouse in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, integrating storage and freight transportation at an existing service center as the West Chester-based logistics company expands its regional distribution network.
The new facility at 485 Terminal Street sits adjacent to Pyle’s less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation center at 475 Terminal Street. Together, the properties create a logistics hub connecting warehousing operations directly with the company’s freight network across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Ohio.
The investment allows customers to store inventory and arrange regional shipments through a single location, reducing the number of transfers between warehouse operators and transportation providers.
The expansion also adds distribution capacity for existing customers while providing additional storage options for businesses seeking access to central Pennsylvania’s transportation corridors.
“Connecting inventory and transportation under one roof creates a stronger, more responsive supply chain,” Frank Granieri, Pyle’s chief commercial officer, said. “This investment enables us to reduce touchpoints, improve coordination and deliver a more integrated supply chain solution.”
The Camp Hill location provides access to Interstate 81, Interstate 76, Interstate 83 and U.S. Route 15, connecting the facility to major population centers and freight markets throughout the region.
Pyle is positioning the operation to serve industries with time-sensitive inventory requirements, including healthcare, medical supplies and manufacturing.
Combining storage and transportation at the same location is intended to improve inventory coordination and support more frequent replenishment without requiring goods to move between separate facilities.
The Camp Hill opening follows Pyle’s earlier groundbreaking of an integrated warehouse and LTL service center near the Port of Virginia in Suffolk, Virginia.
Both projects are part of the company’s strategy to expand facilities that combine warehousing and transportation services rather than operating them as separate components of its distribution network.
Founded more than a century ago, A. Duie Pyle is a family-owned logistics provider offering transportation, warehousing and other supply chain services through its regional network.
