Barclay Friends Names Nina Wible to Lead Social Services

WEST CHESTER, PA — Barclay Friends has named Nina Wible director of social services, putting the healthcare and social-services professional in charge of programs supporting residents and their families at the West Chester senior living community.

Wible will oversee programs focused on residents’ emotional, social and physical well-being and will work closely with Marina Hacking, senior director of health services, Barclay Friends said.

She joins the Kendal affiliate with experience supporting older adults and families navigating post-acute care and senior living. Wible holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.

“My passion for social services has always been rooted in advocacy, compassion and helping people navigate life’s transitions,” Wible said.

Her responsibilities will include working with residents, families and staff as they manage care needs and transitions within the community.

“Nina brings a diverse background in social work and has quickly become a valued member of our community,” Hacking said.
