CHESTERBROOK, PA — adapfin has appointed Michael Day as chief financial officer, placing a technology finance veteran in charge of fundraising and financial operations as the Chesterbrook-based company prepares to bring its AI-native banking platform, Nucleus BankOS, to market.

Day will oversee capital planning, investor relations, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial reporting and internal controls, the company said.

The appointment gives adapfin a senior executive responsible for securing growth capital and managing financial resources as it develops its banking technology business.

Day brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance, capital formation, operations and transactions, including leadership positions at Dell Technologies, Atos and Ensono.

According to adapfin, Day has helped structure, negotiate and close transactions representing more than $10 billion in aggregate contract value.

He also helped two previous organizations strengthen their financial operations and prepare for exits at valuations ranging from approximately seven to 12 times annual recurring revenue.

His experience includes establishing financial reporting systems, developing forecasts, evaluating financing alternatives and preparing companies for investor and acquisition due diligence.

At adapfin, Day will work with founder and Chief Executive Officer Endré Jarraux Walls to establish the financial infrastructure supporting the company’s commercial expansion.
