EXTON, PA — BODYBAR Pilates plans to open its second Pennsylvania studio on November 16 in Exton, expanding the fitness franchise’s presence in the state as demand for reformer-based Pilates supports its nationwide growth.

The 2,300-square-foot studio at 232 Eagleview Boulevard, Suite 110, will feature 14 Pilates reformers and offer instructor-led classes focused on strength, balance and mobility. The opening date remains subject to construction schedules.

The Exton location will be owned and operated by Preeti Gandhi, a first-time franchisee with more than a decade of experience in fitness and nutrition. Her husband, Kartik Gandhi, will oversee financial and human resources functions.

The investment comes as BODYBAR expands its franchise network. The company reports more than 23,000 members nationwide, over 70 studios in development and 12 additional locations scheduled to open by the end of 2026.

The Exton studio will operate with a full-time staff responsible for daily operations, while Preeti Gandhi oversees front-of-house functions. She also plans to pursue certification as a BODYBAR Pilates instructor while continuing her career as a senior product manager.

Gandhi, who also practices as a nutritionist specializing in menopause and vegetarian lifestyles, identified growing local interest in Pilates as a factor in her decision to enter the franchise business.

“No matter your age and experience level, Pilates can be such an effective and approachable workout to build both strength and community,” Gandhi said.

The studio will offer BODYBAR’s athletic Pilates programming, which uses reformer equipment to provide resistance-based exercises. Classes will accommodate participants with varying levels of fitness experience.

Kamille McCollum, BODYBAR’s chief brand officer, president and co-founder, described the Exton opening as part of the company’s broader Pennsylvania expansion.

The company is offering discounted founding memberships ahead of the opening. Memberships purchased through October 26 qualify for a 15% discount, while those purchased afterward and before opening day qualify for a 10% discount.

According to the company, founding members will retain their discounted membership rates and receive priority booking and access to a complimentary class before the studio opens.

BODYBAR has scheduled a Trunk or Treat event for October 29 from 5 to 7:30 p.m., featuring local vendors, food, refreshments, crafts, jewelry and Halloween activities. Advance registration is required.

The Exton opening will extend BODYBAR’s Pennsylvania operations as the company pursues additional franchise development across the country.
