WEST CHESTER, PA — Trellist Inc. has introduced a marketing research service that uses artificial intelligence to investigate customer behavior within 24 hours, expanding the West Chester company’s capabilities in campaign optimization and customer analytics.
The service, called Behavioral-to-Qualitative Bridge, connects customer activity data from sales systems, websites and digital products with AI-led interviews conducted through Quals.ai.
The approach is designed to help businesses determine why customers abandon purchases, disengage during registration or respond differently to marketing offers, rather than relying exclusively on behavioral metrics.
Trellist said the service draws on information from customer relationship management systems, product usage records and web analytics to identify customer interactions requiring further investigation.
When the data identifies an unexpected change, Trellist initiates a targeted interview study through Quals.ai to gather explanations from affected customers.
The company said interview findings can be returned in as little as 24 hours, allowing marketing teams to revise messaging, promotional offers and advertising materials before testing the changes against earlier versions.
“Behavioral data is excellent at telling you where to look,” said Gavin Garrison, partner and account leader at Trellist. “The interviews contextualize everything.”
The service builds on Trellist’s direct response marketing practice, which evaluates advertising performance through successive testing of messages, offers and creative materials.
By incorporating customer interviews into that process, the company aims to connect measurable changes in consumer behavior with the motivations behind them.
The offering is available to existing Quals.ai clients and through standalone engagements for consumer marketing, direct response campaigns and business-to-business programs.
The introduction extends Trellist’s use of AI in marketing operations, adding automated qualitative research to its existing analytics and campaign development services.
