PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Pennsylvania SPCA’s Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR) is inviting animal lovers to its Chester Springs campus this Thursday for a Happy Hour Meet & Greet aimed at encouraging community engagement and pet adoptions in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

The event, scheduled for July 24 from 6 to 8 p.m., will feature local craft brews from Well Crafted Beer Co., snacks, and an opportunity to meet adoptable animals. Guests are welcome to bring their own leashed, well-behaved dogs to the 60-acre rescue property for an evening of socializing with fellow pet lovers and MLAR alumni.

The gathering also marks the launch of the rescue’s “Double the Love, Half the Fee” kitten adoption campaign. With more than a dozen kittens currently available, the promotion allows families to adopt two kittens at once, with the second adoption fee discounted by 50%. The offer runs through Sunday, July 27, or until all kittens are placed in homes.

Attendees will be able to meet animals currently up for adoption and reconnect with others in the local rescue community. The event is open to the public and welcomes people of all ages.

Organizers say the initiative reflects MLAR’s ongoing mission to increase adoption rates while creating a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. All proceeds and participation support the broader efforts of the Pennsylvania SPCA to rescue and care for animals in need.
