Every community in Chester County has its go-to spot. and the Whip Tavern is one of those places. They provide an authentic pub atmosphere with traditional English dishes crafted from local, sustainable ingredients. Our favorite is their award-winning Sticky Toffee Pudding, a moist cake made with dates, served warm and topped with toffee sauce and fresh whipped cream.

We recommend the Lobster Benedict, which includes two poached eggs with lobster topped with hollandaise sauce served on an English muffin with home fries.

1906, named in honor of the year Pierre S. du Pont (1870-1954) purchased the grounds which became Longwood Gardens, has a reputation for uncompromising quality. While always exceptional, food offerings do change from season to season. You will want to check with the restaurant for current pricing and menu information.

You just can’t go wrong with Chocolate Chip Pancakes.
