From Chester County’s craft breweries to their unique wineries and distilleries, there are plenty of local choices. This compilation of homegrown producers in the area offers a great list for craft beer lovers, wine connoisseurs, and spirits enthusiasts.

Today, we are highlighting just a small sample. Chester County has many fantastic distilleries, wineries and distillers, and only a few are featured on our list. From breweries in Berwyn to Kennett Square wineries, Chester County has options for all tastes and preferences.

Located in Berwyn, La Cabra offers more than just beer. Beer is their main passion and the owners carefully ferment their large variety of beers in stainless steel and oak barrels, but don’t forget about the Latin-inspired foods that are also on the menu! Empanadas, wings, tacos, and other options are available for curbside pickup. As for beer, customers can order 4-packs, crowlers, bottles of beer, and even hard seltzers. La Cabra offers online ordering or you can place an order over the phone. Place an order Tuesday to Friday 3 pm – 8:30 pm and 12 pm – 8:30 pm on the weekends.

What began as 3 best friends from high school starting a brewery in their family barn, is now fondly known as Phoenixville’s Stable 12 Brewing Company. Offering beer and food for pickup, customers can view Stable 12’s menu and order online. Try a can of “Live to Fight Another IPA” or order a crowler of “Razzle Dazzle.” Their hours vary slightly each day, but Friday through Sunday you can place a carry-out order from 12:20 pm – 8:30 pm and from 4:20 pm on during the week.

Galer Estates Vineyard & Winery

Founded back in 2005, Mr. Galer, a rock band singer, and Mrs. Galer, a painter and welder, created Galer Estate Vineyard and Winery. Their 7-acre vineyard in Kennett Square, PA opened to the public in 2011. From individual bottles of Pinot Gris and sparkling wine to assortment cases and even paintings, Galer Estate Wines offers unique products! Check out their online ordering system and pick up your online order any day between 12pm and 6pm.

Paradocx Vineyard’s name was inspired by their founders, a “pair of docs.” Operated by two families, Paradocx wines are created using grapes from 30 acres of vines on their 100-acre property. The winery allows customers to place orders over the phone or online, offering to-go service and curbside service. Call (610)-255-5684, if you’re interested in ordering. Interestingly, Paradocx offers their wines by the bottle, case, or even pail. That’s right, they sell 3-liter cans of certain wines they produce. Check it out!

Brandywine Branch Distillers is the creator of Revivalist Botanical Gin, voted the #1 craft gin distillery by USA Today Readers’ Choice 2020, and home of Brandywine Branch Bistro. Located in Elverson, Brandywine Branch Distillery and Bistro not only produces award-winning gins but also other fine products, including whiskeys and vodka. Revivalist gin aims to introduce customers to a “new generation of American gin,” using seasonal botanicals to invigorate their variations.  In addition to gin, the distillery has whiskeys, vodka, and cocktails available for purchase.
