PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County is gearing up for its annual PrideFest celebration on Saturday, June 7, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Bridge Street in Phoenixville. This year’s event, marking the 10th anniversary of the Equality Alliance, is set to be the largest PrideFest Chester County has hosted.
Known as the county’s biggest LGBTQIA+ celebration, PrideFest promises a vibrant day filled with activities for all ages. Guests will enjoy an expanded entertainment lineup featuring performances by drag queens Roxanne Rohl, Ophelia Hotass, Zephyra Rivers, Samara LaNegra, and Ms. Midnight.
The event highlights local and national support, with key sponsors including Rainbow sponsor ACME Markets, and Teapot sponsors Wegmans, Key Bank, PA American Water, Tower Health Phoenixville Hospital, The Colonial Theatre, and Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital. Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Center joins as the Tobacco-Free sponsor, alongside more than 15 other contributors supporting the festivities. Over 150 vendors and community organizations will participate, offering an array of booths showcasing local queer artists and community resources.
“PrideFest is more than just a celebration — it’s a powerful voice in the community, an act of solidarity, and a way to connect with others during a time that can feel quite isolating,” said Roberta Perry, board member of the Equality Alliance. “Events like this shape a future where every identity is not only acknowledged but wholeheartedly accepted and celebrated.”
PrideFest Chester County 2025 is an inclusive and family-friendly event. Kids can enjoy the dedicated “Kids Court” area, featuring face painting, sand art, a prize wheel, and other activities. Meanwhile, the “Doggie Zone” will welcome pets and hold a Best Dressed Doggy contest, allowing furry friends to join the fun.
To accommodate the expected large crowd, free parking will be available at Phoenixville Hospital’s parking garage (Main Street entrance) and Manavon Elementary School (Pothouse Road entrance). The Rainbow Shuttle will provide free rides starting at 11:30 a.m., with the last pick-up scheduled for 5:15 p.m. at Church and Jackson Streets.
The celebration doesn’t end with the festival. An after party hosted by the Equality Alliance will take place at the Colonial Theatre on Bridge Street from 8 p.m. to midnight. This 21+ event features a $10 cover charge, extending the joyous spirit of PrideFest well into the evening.
All are invited to this uplifting celebration of love, equality, and pride. PrideFest Chester County 2025 promises to be an unforgettable event, fostering a sense of togetherness and unity for all attendees.
