Join Mayor DeBaptiste and Chief Morehead at West Chester’s 2023 Community Cleanup

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Borough of West Chester announced it is hosting its annual Community Cleanup on Saturday, April 22nd and everyone is invited to join Mayor Lillian DeBaptiste and Chief James Morehead of the West Chester Police Department in making a positive impact.

This is an opportunity for individuals and teams of all sizes to come together, clean up their local areas, and make West Chester a cleaner, greener place. To participate, sign up as an individual or team; claim your 2-5 block cleanup area, and complete the liability waiver. On Saturday, April 22nd between 8-9 am come to Borough Hall (401 E. Gay Street) to pick up your cleanup kit and thank you gift. This event is rain-or-shine, but in case of inclement weather, the actual cleanup can occur at any time throughout the weekend.

Once you’ve completed your assigned area, take a picture of your team in action at your cleanup area, post it on social media using the hashtag #CleanAndGreenWC, then drop off your trash bags at the closest designated drop-off location (a map will be included with your cleanup kit).
