DOUGLASSVILLE, PA — Lennar plans to open a more than 300-home active adult community in Amity Township this fall, expanding the builder’s Pennsylvania footprint with single-family homes starting in the $400,000s.
Venue at Leaf Creek, at 677 Old Swede Road in Douglassville, will offer 10 floorplans ranging from 1,570 to 3,700 square feet. Homes will have two to four bedrooms and two to four bathrooms, with single-level layouts and exterior decks.
The development will include a private clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center, pickleball courts and walking trails. The clubhouse is planned as the center for social and wellness programming.
“Active adult living should be about more than just the home itself — it’s about the lifestyle that comes with it,” Lennar Pennsylvania-Delaware Division President Tench Tilghman said.
Lennar plans to include kitchens with appliances, upgraded bathroom finishes, flooring, Ring doorbells and wireless thermostats in the base price through its Everything’s Included program.
The development is named for a creek running through the property and is being built in Amity Township near the Schuylkill River corridor.
The location provides access to Route 422 and Route 100, connecting the community with Reading and Collegeville. King of Prussia is approximately 30 minutes away, while Philadelphia is within about an hour’s drive.
