WEST CHESTER, PA — Calista has begun selling its hair tools and haircare products through Macys.com, extending the West Chester company’s retail distribution as it seeks broader access to U.S. beauty consumers.
A selected range of Calista products is currently available through the department store’s website, with additional items expected to be added in the coming weeks. Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
The online launch was arranged through Calista’s partnership with BEAUTYSPACE, a retail platform operated by Space NK that helps beauty brands enter department stores and other sales channels.
Calista began working with BEAUTYSPACE in 2024 and has since secured placement through Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and Belk. Macy’s becomes the latest retailer added through the relationship.
The expansion gives Calista another national distribution channel beyond its existing business on QVC and other retailers. The company sells heated styling tools and haircare products intended for at-home use.
“Macy’s has been a trusted beauty destination for generations, so having Calista available on Macys.com is a meaningful milestone for our brand,” founder and Chief Executive Officer Maria McCool said.
McCool, a hairstylist and salon owner, founded Calista to develop consumer hair products informed by professional salon techniques.
Noah Rosenblatt, president of North America Space NK, said Macy’s has become an increasingly important channel for beauty-product discovery and sales.
The Macys.com launch continues Calista’s effort to move beyond television retail and increase its presence across department-store and specialty beauty channels.
