WILMINGTON, DE & LOUISVILLE, KY — The Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH), in partnership with Bamboo Health, has launched DTRN360, a statewide behavioral health coordination platform designed to improve care transitions, reduce system silos, and strengthen collaboration among providers.
Powered by Bamboo’s Intelligence Hub, DTRN360 integrates directly into provider workflows, enabling care teams to manage referrals, share treatment histories, and connect individuals to behavioral health and social service supports in real time.
“This isn’t just about technology. It’s about helping providers work together more easily to support the people we serve,” said Michelle Singletary-Twyman, director of operations at DSAMH. “DTRN360 strengthens our behavioral health system by giving care teams better tools to coordinate and stay connected.”
The rollout builds on Delaware’s earlier adoption of the Delaware Treatment and Referral Network (DTRN) in 2018, which digitized behavioral health referrals using Bamboo’s OpenBeds technology. Since then, the system has facilitated more than 250,000 referrals. In 2023, DSAMH added Bamboo’s Crisis Management System, enhancing coordination between crisis responders and treatment providers.
With DTRN360, providers with authorized access can now view a patient’s treatment history, receive real-time alerts, track referrals across the continuum of care, and connect individuals to community resources addressing social determinants of health, such as housing, food, and peer support services.
“We’re proud and honored to expand our partnership with Delaware with the rollout of DTRN360,” said Brad Bauer, senior vice president of partnerships at Bamboo Health. “Giving providers access to real-time insights enables more connected, efficient behavioral healthcare, especially in the pivotal moments when timing and coordination matter most.”
Lisa Johnson, principal at HEALTHe Insights, which helped implement the platform, said the launch reflects “years of work across planning, technology and engagement” and represents a model for what real-time behavioral health coordination can achieve.
The DTRN360 system is now live and will continue to expand as additional functionality and provider partners are integrated.
